Senior Vice President of Education
Bonny Nickle comes to IEC after spending more than 20 years mastering the ins and outs of some of today’s leading post-secondary and vocational institutions. Her scope of expertise, from teaching to management, contributed to highly successful periods at Corinthian Colleges, the University of Phoenix, National-Louis University, Florida Institute of Technology, National University, Coastline Community College, and Webster University.
While at Corinthian Colleges, she received the Parthenon Campus Support Center Award of Excellence — just one in a long line of honors that began while she was earning her education. Nickle received the Phi Delta Kappa Award for the most innovative dissertation topic in the field of distance education. She also was awarded a prestigious scholarship to the Adult Learner Conference, based on her research and presentation. Additional presentations and publications focused on the Adult Learner, Higher Education and Online Learning round out her contribution to academic literature in the field.
Nickle has a doctorate in education in institutional management and educational leadership from Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education & Psychology. She earned both her undergraduate and master’s degree in business administration from National University. Nickle previously served as a Board Member for the International Association of Continuing Education & Training (IACET).
