Fardad Fateri has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of International Education Corporation since January 2008.

Dr. Fateri has a rare combination of academic, operations and business experience that successfully positions him to serve, manage and lead staff, faculty, and students at the highest level and to build world-class teams who have the demonstrated ability to deliver top results for all stakeholders.

Prior to joining IEC, Dr. Fateri was the Chief Academic Officer of Corinthian Colleges, Inc. where he led, among many initiatives, the corporation’s faculty; student services; placement, state & accreditation compliance; and academic services at over 135 campuses in 25 U.S. states and seven Canadian provinces. He served CCi from 2004 to 2008.

From 1995 to 2004, Dr. Fateri served in multiple senior executive positions at DeVry University, most notably the University’s President in Southern California, where his team enjoyed unprecedented growth with remarkable records in student achievement and student outcomes.

From 1988 to 1995, Dr. Fateri held several posts at U.S. International University, from faculty member, admissions representative to campus executive director.

Dr. Fateri has taught for many years both on-ground and online, has published extensively and has presented at many regional and national conferences. He has also served on many boards and commissions.

Dr. Fateri received his Bachelor of Arts degree from University of California in Irvine; earned his Master of Arts degree from California State University in Fullerton; holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Alliant International University, San Diego and completed the "Management and Leadership in Education" program at Harvard University.
